We are just two days away from Tanya Chilaule's debut.

A young woman originally from Maputo province and residing in the Khongolote neighborhood in the Municipality of Matola, she began her professional career in 2020. The following year, she achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Best Female Artist award at the first edition of the Mozambique Gospel Awards. In 2023, she shone at the “Voices of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean” event, performing one of her greatest hits, “Divine Command”.

Tanya Chilaule doesn't hide from the Apathany journalist that the Best Female Artist award, won at the first edition of the Mozambique Awards, is indeed one of the greatest moments of her career and considers it a moment of great progress. "From 2020 until today I believe there has been progress, yes, in 2021 I was the winner of the Best Female Artist award at the first Mozambican Gospel Awards, among other moments that marked my progress," says Tanya Chilaule.

Furthermore, Tanya Chilaule expressed her ambition in the Gospel music scene. “My greatest ambition is to depopulate hell and populate Heaven through music, to see souls being won for Christ,” said the singer of the week. She believes that Mozambican music is heading in the right direction and is a reference for her genre, which in her opinion is gaining more visibility in recent times.

“I believe that Mozambican music is indeed on the right track, and in the genre I'm currently in, 'Gospel,' I see great progress, as Mozambican Gospel is gaining more visibility. I believe we are going somewhere,“ said Tanya Chilaule. Her debut is the day after tomorrow, promptly at 4 PM on Tv.ihapari.com and KTV.
