We are two days away from the premiere of Big Gordo's acoustic performance.

Big Gordo is a young man from the municipality of Matola, from the Nkobe neighborhood. He has been singing since 2004, almost 19 years, but even today he is not very well known. This problem is not unique to Big Gordo; several artists go through something similar. Today, you will hear Big Gordo's opinion on this situation and understand what is happening and where the problem lies.

Popularity, fame, or being known, is what every artist wants, what every artist aims for. This week's artist entered the music scene in 2004, but it all began in 1992, when Big Gordo was a member of a dance group in Makwayela, a group that even performed for the President of the Republic at the time, Alberto Joaquim Chissano. In other words, Big Gordo had a path almost halfway to success.

In 2004, Big Gordo pursued his solo dream of becoming a singer, a dream that seems to have encountered several obstacles. In those 19 years, many artists have emerged and are now famous and recognized. In response to a journalist from Apathany, Big Gordo said, "I think poor marketing, lack of funding, working individually, it hasn't been easy for me." This problem isn't unique to Big Gordo; many artists face similar issues, some even giving up before achieving their biggest dream.

Big Gordo didn't give up, he believed and continues working towards a better future, revealing his greatest ambition in music to Apathany. "My ambition with music is bigger, because I'd like to be known worldwide," he concluded. Tomorrow, you'll find out about Big Gordo's next steps in the music industry.
