This time we went to the province of Zambézia, in the district of Nicoadala, where we met a great voice, known as Ignel André, a true promise of Mozambican music in the KIZOMBA genre. In conversation with Apathany, the young talent revealed some great things he has encountered in the music world. His biggest challenge, his point of view on the music market: Come with me to find out more.
In the lands of Zambézia, a province rich in gastronomy and marine fauna, teeming with fish and crustaceans, and fertile for the cultivation of rice, corn, cassava, and sugarcane, it was in this environment of great richness that we found our artist of the week, Ignel André, with unquestionable talent.
The young man spoke about his biggest challenge in the music world. "Sustaining my projects without sponsorship or a job," were his first words in this conversation, answering our first question, in which we sought to understand his biggest challenge in the music world. Being a new talent, we sought to understand his point of view regarding the music market and whether he considers it inspiring for new talents. The answer is surprising.
“Not everyone at the top embraces new talent, so it makes the process much more difficult,” said the young artist Ignel André, adding his perspective on Apathany. “I believe Apathany came to show the potential at the grassroots level,” concluded our young talent, chosen by our producer, who throughout the week travels to different parts of the country in search of new talent and more.
