The Mozambican band got the whole audience moving, including the presenter João Carlos Malato, who couldn't contain his excitement when he heard and saw Bana Kakana perform one of their greatest hits, "Não deixa morrer a Marrabenta" (Don't Let Marrabenta Die).
This band is one of those that moves any lover of good music, even without understanding the language; with this band, you get lost in the melody. There is no doubt that when it is said that music has no borders, it refers to this type of music that Banda Kakana has been providing to its fans.
The band is still in Portugal, where they have a schedule with three shows. One of them already took place on September 1st at the Festa do Avante 2023, while on the 15th they will be at Bleza, in Lisbon, and on the 17th at Bota, in Largo de Santa Bárbara. They left a unique impression on the RTP África television program “A nossa tarde”, as you can see below.
