The young Mozambican rapper MC Mastone was surprised with an offer of 30 thousand meticais, made by the company Continental Cleaners, after his participation in the program “Batidas”, broadcast by TV Sucesso on Thursday afternoon. The revelation was made this Friday by the program's host, Aires Cossa, who confirmed that the amount will be transferred to the artist's account next Monday.

During his appearance on the program, Mastone moved the audience by sharing his journey as a Humble MC, who despite being on the rise in the national hip-hop market, faces several challenges. In a country where making a living from music is still a constant struggle, Mastone spoke openly about his dreams, including the desire to acquire a motorcycle to help him get around, as well as other personal and professional goals.
Moved by the artist's story, the company Continental Cleaners, which operates in the cities of Maputo, Beira and Nacala-Porto, decided to support the young man as a way to encourage Mozambican talent. The company specializes in industrial and post-construction cleaning, gardening, pest control, solid waste management, sanitation and drainage cleaning, providing services that promote hygiene, the environment and sustainability in different regions of the country.
This gesture of solidarity is seen as an example of how the private sector can contribute to the growth of young national talent, especially in areas such as urban culture, where opportunities are still scarce.
For many, Continental Cleaners' action represents more than just a donation: it is an investment in art, youth, and the future of a country where music continues to be a powerful vehicle for expression and social transformation.
