This week, we're in the capital city, where we bring you a male voice, that of a young man born in the 80s. Arnaldo Manhice is this week's featured artist, and in this first conversation, he revealed the biggest challenges he had to overcome in his career.
Manhice has been singing since childhood and grew up listening to American music, along with some African styles. The artist released an EP titled “Nitsakile”, which contains 5 tracks.
Beyond singing, Manhice is a highly skilled guitarist who revealed to us the main challenges he faced in the music field. “The challenges were getting music on the radio, raising money to record new work, and being on television. Several times doors were closed to me, but I'm here for what I love, for what I dream of,” said Arnaldo Manhice, demonstrating great determination to continue his career. Now, he is about to reach new horizons with “Vozes da Pérola do Índico” (Voices of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean). His acoustic performance will be released to the public this Saturday, September 9th, at 4 PM. Watch this week's video by clicking on the blue bar below.
