Dama do Bling sang, charmed, and received high praise from internet users on the TV Sucesso program 'Batidas'. She shared some of her favorite songs from among the many tracks she has released, and also mentioned two names in Mozambican music who could or may inherit her crown.
Yadah Angel and Tamyris Moiane are the names mentioned by Dama do Bling who could possibly take her place in the music scene, but note that there are categories here: Yadah Angel would be Dama do Bling because of her style, while Tamyris Moiane would be because of her artistic career.
It's certainly a great honor for both artists, who are promising talents in Mozambican music. Puto Aires, being Puto Aires, sought to find out from Dama do Bling which of her favorite songs she has already released. “De nada Bling” was the first track mentioned by the singer, who explained her reasons. “It’s one of my babies, because it came about during a difficult time in my life. We made the song, so much so that today, if I unconsciously say 'thank you,' the automatic response is 'you’re welcome, Bling,' you understand? That’s why it’s one of my babies,‘ said Dama do Bling.
The second song mentioned by the singer was "Dança do remexe," and there was also discussion about it. "I released that song, and it won me two awards at the Channel O Music Awards.", I was a newcomer, just starting my career, and I won two Channel O Music Awards: best female song and best South African song. It's a song that's still very much a baby," said Dama do Bling, adding, "Then came 'Longa Espera,' which is about night watchmen. That song marked me because I received a level of praise from an audience that wasn't mine, mostly adults, and I started to win over that audience." The list was closed with the track "Lagrimas de Mãe" (Mother's Tears).
