Twenty Fingers was born in Mozambique, in the province of Sofala, in the city of Beira, on December 2, 1988.
Interestingly, the singer called himself Twenty Fingers in homage to his twenty (20) fingers, as they allow him to play various instruments and write his hits, this for the fingers of the hands, as for the lower part, the homage is for the fact that they are what guarantee his balance.
He is a Mozambican singer who started his career as a child attending church, which sparked his passion for music. The fact that he has a brother who is a musician and producer may have influenced Twenty Fingers to embrace the world of music, but it wasn't his brother's influence that led him to pursue it, as he doesn't collaborate with his brother on his music; his brother is the producer and composer of his own songs.
Twenty Fingers says that being a musician wasn't his dream; he only wanted to try singing. But as time went on, people started encouraging him, saying he had a future in music, and he also realized he had this gift, a gift God gave him, and he couldn't waste it. With the support of family, friends, neighbors, and church members, he established himself in music, and today he knows how to value it. He faced many difficulties, but he mentioned a few: he was rejected by radio stations, television stations, and some artists; he went through many humiliations; he even thought about giving up on music. He worked very hard to get where he is today; he had to go through a lot. .
According to TWENTY FINGERS, he once walked 90 km on foot, all because of the music, at night and in the dark. He took many risks, and on one occasion saw death nearby, but thank God he is here today. He never had support from Sslowly; everything was due to his own effort. In Tete, he met a young man named Nelson, who is part of the music promotion team. One day, the young man came to his studio and listened to Twent Fingers' music, telling him that the songs were very good. He took Twent Fingers' music, put it on a pen drive, and told him he was going to release the music on the internet, and so it was. Today, TWENTY FINGERS is the one we know and love.
