This morning, Tuesday, August 8th, Twenty Fingers used his Facebook page to express his feelings about the Doppaz case. “Because we’re part of the same class, I couldn’t remain indifferent to the situation and, given what you’re going through, I wish you strength and that everything goes well. It is worth noting that yesterday afternoon a press release was issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Maputo, from the image and communication department. It states that a criminal case has been opened against citizen Amândio Munhequeia, popularly known as “Doppaz”, under number 226/11/P/2023, which is being processed at the Public Prosecutor's Office – City of Maputo.
Highlighting that the Mozambican singer was arrested on Sunday night, the day he shared a video on his social media demanding that someone kill the President of the Republic and his son, with evidence weighing on him regarding the legal types of crime of: (I) Incitement to collective disobedience and (II) Public instigation to a crime. Taking into account his recidivism in perpetrating the aforementioned legal types of crime, Doppaz was arrested on August 6th and heard yesterday afternoon (7), in the first interrogation before the Judge of the Section. Twenty Fingers, Dama do Bling, Marllen and King Bibas are the first artists to express their feelings about the Doppaz case, through social media.
Dama do Bling appeals for forgiveness. “May there be room for forgiveness! Strength, Doppaz.” Marllen addresses her prayers to King Doppaz and emphasizes that every storm has its end. “King Doppaz, my brother, we pray for you, everything will be alright 🔥. JESUS is always in front of everything, in the world we go through difficult situations, but they don't last forever and they make us stronger. May the Spirit of God strengthen you,” writes Marllen, ending with a quote from a biblical verse.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world” (JOHN 16:33). Finally, King Bibas puts God first and believes that everything will be alright. “God first in everything.”
