TV Miramar reaffirmed its commitment to journalistic quality by winning the 2023/2024 Journalism Award for Nutrition and Food Security. Daniel Lucas, a reporter for the program Contacto Directo, was the big winner, securing first place in a competition that brings together and celebrates the talent of professionals dedicated to fundamental issues for social development.
The award is promoted by the national platform Scaling Up, an initiative funded by the European Union, which supports and values coverage of issues related to nutrition and food security in Mozambique. In its fifth edition, the award featured more than a dozen candidates, divided into several categories, all committed to raising public awareness about the importance of healthy and safe food.
