The moment was shared by singer Valdemiro José, who highlighted the honoree's career: “What immense joy to have participated in the 40th anniversary celebrations of World Vision! And my heart overflowed even more when I had the honor of presenting a certificate of merit and a trophy to our dear Uncle Dedinho ❤️” said Valdemiro José, who added.
“"Since the 90s, he has filled Sunday mornings with magic with 'Pirlim Pim Pim' and, more than that, has always championed children's rights. A true example of love, joy, and commitment to childhood. Long live our eternal Uncle Dedinho," stated Valdemiro José.
For many generations of Mozambicans, Uncle Dedinho is synonymous with fun, education, and social responsibility. Through the children's program "Pirlim Pim Pim," which has been a staple of Sunday mornings since the 1990s, he has successfully combined entertainment and values education, always promoting the importance of children's well-being and rights.
This tribute reinforces Tio Dedinho's role as a cultural and social reference in Mozambique, highlighting the positive impact that public figures can have on children's lives and in building a more just society that is attentive to the needs of younger generations.
