TIMYA Nigerian musician premieres the new single TSUNAMI by YABA BULUKU BOYS at Obi House in Lagos.

TSUNAMI is the new single from the group Yaba Buluku Boys which features the collaboration of the great Nigerian musician Timaya released last Friday, which saw its debut on the Nigerian side by Timaya last Sunday in Lagos at Obi House

The group Yaba Buluku Boys is preparing to release their first original album titled “DONSA” next April, which already has two promotional songs released, namely BOM JOB and TSUNAMI.

The album “DONSA” which will be released in April will bring a unique mix of sounds, with the participation of national and international artists.
The Yaba Buluku Boys group promises that this album will be a success not only in the national territory but also beyond borders, specifically throughout Africa, just as it was with the song that gave rise to the Yaba Buluku Boys group.
This song was conceived by this trio, their first work as the group "Yaba Buluku Boys" a little over two years ago. It was released and became a hit in the country, but some television stations banned it for being considered obscene. But the song went viral enough to be unstoppable, gaining even more notoriety thanks to "Geobak" (the group's current manager), which eventually caught the attention of Burna Boy, who asked them to remix it. It is this remix that has now catapulted Mozambique to the top, reaching 20 million views on YouTube two years after its release.

Burna Boy sang this song at the World Cup and on BET America, and it was also played by a DJ at the private party of North American singer and businessman Puff Daddy.
It is worth noting that this group, after the release of the song “Yaba Buluku”, has represented the country abroad at the highest level, despite having been undervalued at the beginning of their career.
A song that was banned on some television channels in our country reaches a historic milestone for Mozambican music and raises the flag to the highest level.
Yaba Buluku Boys (Dj Tárico, Nelson Tivane and Preke) is currently the musical group that best represents the country beyond its borders.
