Angolan actor and comedian Talibam will make his debut on Mozambican stages on June 29th, on an evening of... stand-up comedy which will take place in Cuamba, Niassa province, alongside the renowned Mozambican comedian Tio Yado, who will be the host of the evening.
This will be Talibam's first performance for a Mozambican audience, marking a historic moment in his career. His visit to the country is at the invitation of Tio Yado, who has performed in Angola for the past few years, always at the invitation of Angolan colleagues. Now, in a symbolic and strategic reciprocation, Tio Yado has decided to reverse roles and bring one of the most influential names in Angolan humor to Mozambique.
The choice of Cuamba as the venue for this show also represents a commitment to cultural decentralization, bringing big names in national and international entertainment to areas outside the usual centers, such as Maputo or Beira.
