Today in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, the Mozambique national football team held its first training session in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN2023). Under the leadership of coach Chiquinho Conde, the 23 selected players demonstrated their commitment at the Ivory Coast Football Federation's Technical Center, located in Bingerville, just 20 kilometers from their base.
The training ground offers quality facilities, including three pitches: two for eleven-a-side football (one natural and one synthetic) and a third, natural, pitch for seven-a-side football. The team opted for the natural grass pitch for the initial phase of their tournament preparation.
The morning training session began with warm-up rounds and injury prevention exercises, highlighting the team's commitment to the players' physical health. The session culminated with practice of game processes, focusing especially on building attacks.
This rigorous preparation aims to consolidate team cohesion and enhance the individual skills of the players. With the tournament approaching, the Mozambique National Team is determined to represent the country with dedication and excellence at the #CAN2023.
