Amidst so many opinions regarding the recent interview with Mozambican rapper Iveth Marlene and the stance taken by Lill Wayne de Moz, Refiller Boy, through his Facebook page, defends Iveth and offers points for reflection. “If Mozambican youth were serious, they would start by denouncing all bloggers and presenters who give attention to that ill-mannered person… unfortunately, this youth is also possessed by the spirit of gossip.”.
It was with these words that the social intervention artist began his intervention on this issue that seems to be gaining a lot of attention on social media. But that was just the beginning, Refiller wrote. “With so many people doing good in this society, bloggers and TV prefer to give attention and fame to someone without character.
"So they're so happy because this young man is insulting Dr. Iveth?" Refiller Boy asks.
Next he says, "Crazy people only realize they're crazy when society doesn't care... as long as we coddle them, we'll still have to put up with them.".
"The Mozambican people go to these clowns' shows but never to commercial education shows, book fairs, or revolutionary shows... But when there's a problem, they never call these lunatics to help them," Refiller Boy emphasized.
And it didn't stop there, the artist continued. “With so many people suffering from illness, hunger and other ailments, they say nothing… they prefer to spend airtime listening to an individual insulting all those who disagree with his deviant behavior, and society applauds this?” stated Refiller Boy, who believes that the fight for audience share causes some broadcasters and news blogs to lose their principles. “The fight for audience share has made us lose our values and moral principles,” stated the singer from Gaza province, concluding by saying….
“"Wouldn't it be time for us to unite and grab this individual and give him a good beating?" One internet user appears in the comments saying, "Conscious young people have no place in this country." Another writes, "This country has already been sold. Even television and bloggers only want likes and audience. The matter is serious. An illiterate person insulting a doctor and people applauding."
