Mozambican singer Refiller Boy used social media to express his concern about an unusual situation involving two of his songs: “Makhamba” and “Vão Tomar a Sopa”. According to the artist, videos posted on TikTok using these tracks are being systematically silenced.
“All the videos I posted with these songs don’t play; the sound is removed hours or days later,” Refiller Boy revealed, raising suspicions of a possible attempt at censorship or intentional restriction of his work.
Annoyed by what happened, the singer made a public appeal asking for help from those who have a greater understanding of social media to understand and resolve the situation. "They're trying to silence me... ani mbeveve mina," he vented indignantly.
The artist's fan community has already begun to show support, promising to investigate and report any possible irregularities. Social media experts suggest that cases like this may be related to copyright issues, automated platform policies, or, in more serious cases, malicious actions by third parties.
Refiller Boy concluded his appeal with the hope that, with collective support, the situation will be clarified and that his music will continue to reach audiences without barriers.
