Pepo and Reinildo Mandava complete the working group to prepare for the double match against Eswatini.

With the arrival of Reinildo Mandava, full-back for Atlético de Madrid, and Pepo Santos, midfielder for Caldas SC in Portugal, the National Football Team completed its squad of 25 players this Wednesday morning for the double-header against Eswatini. The matches, counting towards the third and fourth rounds of Group I of the CAN-2025 Qualifiers, will be played on October 11th and 14th, both crucial for Mozambique to remain in contention for qualification for the final stage of the competition, which will take place in Morocco.

The national team's third training session, which began at 10:00 AM at the Zimpeto National Stadium, was held with the full squad. With the inclusion of Reinildo and Pepo, coach Chiquinho Conde now has the entire squad available to refine the team's strategy and dynamics in preparation for the two decisive matches against Eswatini.

Reinildo Mandava, a player for Atlético de Madrid and one of Mozambique's most prominent international athletes, will be a key piece in strengthening the national team's defense. His vast experience in high-level competitions brings added value to the team. On the other hand, Pepo Santos, a player for Caldas SC, brings quality to the midfield, offering versatility and tactical balance, essential for the challenges the team will face.

The matches against Eswatini are crucial for Mozambique to secure its place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. With two games in just a few days, victories are essential to consolidate the team's position in the group and maintain hopes of qualifying. The first match takes place on Friday the 11th, at the Zimpeto National Stadium, where the team hopes to count on the support of the fans.

With all players now available, the coaching staff is focusing on final adjustments, both tactical and physical, to ensure the team is prepared to face this challenge. Player morale is high, and the group is aware of the importance of these matches for the future of the national team.

The National Team is determined to give its best in both matches against Eswatini, believing that, with collective effort and the support of the nation, it can achieve positive results that keep alive the dream of participating in the final phase of CAN-2025, to be held in Morocco.
