The coach of Associação Black Bulls, Hélder Duarte, has been summoned by the Disciplinary Council of the Mozambican Football League (LMF) to provide clarifications regarding his recent statements. After his team's draw with Ferroviário da Beira in the 15th round of the 2024 Moçambola, Duarte criticized the performance of referee Artur Alfinar, stating that his team "fights against everything and everyone, including the sponsor who wants to be champion."“
The LMF (Mozambique Football League) considered that Duarte's statements interfere with the organization of the championship. In an official statement, the League informed that the coach must appear at the LMF headquarters on September 18, 2024, at 4 pm, to explain his statements.
The Disciplinary Council is assessing the impact of Duarte's criticisms on the credibility of the championship and the need to ensure the integrity of the Moçambola. The summons aims to clarify the comments and avoid possible sanctions that could influence Duarte's position and the progress of the championship.
