After 15 years away from the spotlight, but always connected to the studios, Mozambican rapper Noma's marked his official return to the hip-hop scene. The launch of his new album took place yesterday afternoon at X Hub in Maputo, bringing together many fans of the genre that seeks to give voice to the different realities of society.
Despite a long absence from the public eye, Noma's never abandoned his passion for hip-hop, continuing to record tracks that have now finally been presented to the public. The new work carries the baggage of a young artist who seeks, through music, to portray the experiences and daily challenges of Mozambique, the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.
The event was attended by fans, fellow artists, and hip-hop enthusiasts, who came to the venue to support the artist and purchase the highly anticipated album.
