Mozambican rapper Nikotina KF announced the release of his new EP, "FUMO," inspired by a young fan's testimony. The admirer reported that the mixtapes from the O MEME series helped him through a difficult period marked by depression and suicidal thoughts.
According to Nikotina, the young man expressed gratitude for the positive impact music has had on his life. The artist commented on the incident on social media, stating that although many laugh at his verses, it's the deeper stories that motivate him to continue.
“"This young man cried tears of gratitude for my Mixtapes O MEME session. He says they saved him from depression when he wanted to commit suicide. My music saved his life. Many laugh at my verses, but those who cry give me a happier motivation," Nikotina wrote.

The EP FUMO, which will be released next Monday morning on the rapper's official YouTube channel, is dedicated to Nikotina KF's late father. The project was developed during a period of alcohol withdrawal and introspection, according to the artist himself.
The EP was produced in collaboration with Dionisio Nico Jr. Lopes, Nikotina's brother. With this new work, the rapper seeks to maintain a connection with his followers, offering content that reflects his experience and personal perspective.
