Following his participation in the Trace Awards and Summit 2025 gala, which took place on the 26th in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Mozambican musician Mr Bow announced his return to Mozambique. On his social media, the artist expressed gratitude to the Mozambican people for their support, to the event organizers for the recognition, and to the travel agency that took care of his stay.
During his time in Zanzibar, in addition to attending one of the biggest African music events, Mr. Bow had a relaxed meeting with Tanzanian singer Harmonize (Konde Boy), strengthening ties between the music industries of Mozambique and Tanzania.
Even without winning the award in the "Best Lusophone Artist" category, which went to Angolan artist Chelsea Dinorath, and in the "Best Male Artist" category, where Congolese artist Fally Ipupa emerged victorious, Mr. Bow considers his nomination and participation an important step for Mozambican music. The artist believes that this visibility will open doors for more musicians from the country on the international stage.
Before leaving Zanzibar, Mr. Bow delivered a message of hope and unity to the Mozambican music industry, highlighting that this could be the beginning of a new era for national artists.
