União Desportiva do Songo is strengthening its squad for the 2025 season with two significant signings. Mozambican forward Melque Alexandre, who had been with Associação Black Bulls since 2017, and Malawian forward Richard Mbulu, who leaves Costa do Sol, are the team's latest additions.
Melque Alexandre, after seven years at Black Bulls, stood out as one of the club's key figures, being a crucial player in the team's various achievements. Although his departure has been made official, Melque's destination has not yet been confirmed, but there are strong indications that the player may move to União Desportiva do Songo, where he will join the squad for the next season.
In turn, Richard Mbulu, who was one of the key players in Costa do Sol's attack, is also joining UDS. The Malawian forward is known for his finishing ability and physical presence in attack. His arrival aims to strengthen the team's attacking front, which continues to prepare for the challenges of the 2025 Moçambola (Mozambican First Division).
With the additions of Melque and Mbulu, União Desportiva de Songo strengthens its offensive line and demonstrates its ambition to fight for national titles next season.
