Mozambican singer Marllene, affectionately known as "Preta Negra," was invited to speak at a Kulaya ceremony held this past weekend. Currently also dedicated to gospel music, Marllene stood out for sharing her teachings and experiences at a moment of strong cultural and spiritual value.

Kulaya, a traditional practice deeply rooted in southern Mozambique, involves counseling women who intend to marry, with the aim of guiding them in caring for, building, and strengthening their new home, based on cultural principles and traditional values.
