Maputo Paralyzed Again

The city of Maputo is once again facing a strike. This is a repeat of the one that occurred on Monday, once again causing major disruptions to citizens' daily lives.

The Mozambican capital is virtually inoperable, with deserted streets and closed businesses, while many find themselves unable to perform basic activities, such as going to work or taking their children to school. Public transportation, already facing challenges, has also been severely affected, leaving many residents without means of transportation.

The shutdown has sparked debate and tension surrounding the reasons behind these ongoing closures, impacting not only the city's economy but also social well-being. Small businesses and service providers are among the hardest hit, with daily losses mounting, while workers and students see their daily routines disrupted.

Maputo is now experiencing uncertainty about how long this situation will last, and whether more strikes will occur in the coming days.
