The gesture happens less than a week before launch of his new musical work, reinforcing the artist's connection to local institutions and the province of Inhambane, which has been a source of inspiration throughout his career. The visit also demonstrates the recognition and mutual respect between the artistic sector and local government.
Mabermuda's new single is eagerly awaited by fans of Marrabenta, a traditional Mozambican style that the singer has helped preserve and renew over the years.
