Mabermuda Begins Celebration Journey: A Musical Odyssey from Rovuma to Maputo

Renowned Mozambican musician Mabermuda has kicked off an exciting photo-sharing campaign, highlighting some of the country's greatest musical talents. Promising to encompass artists from north to south, the campaign has already begun to paint a vibrant picture of Mozambique's rich musical diversity.

The initiative began with a tribute to the talented Professor Lay, representing the northern region of the country. Mabermuda expressed his commitment to dedicating the month of January to celebrating and recognizing the contributions of musicians from the Rovuma region to the capital, Maputo.

In a touching post on his Facebook page, Mabermuda shared: “This month (January) I will dedicate myself to publishing photos of some Mozambican musicians from Rovuma to Maputo. I started yesterday where I published the musician @professorlaymoz (Nampula). Today I bring you two talents from my country; @az_khinera (Cabo Delgado) and @reibravo_official (Niassa). We start from the north and go down to the south of the country.”

By highlighting Az Khinera from Cabo Delgado and Rei Bravo from Niassa, Mabermuda provides a comprehensive view of the musical richness that permeates the diverse regions of Mozambique. The campaign not only celebrates the artists individually, but also highlights the cultural richness and unique contribution of each locality to the national music scene.

As Mabermuda's journey continues, fans can expect a true musical odyssey, exploring and recognizing the talents that shape the country's soundscape. This initiative not only strengthens the bonds between artists but also serves as a passionate tribute to the richness of Mozambican music, which transcends geographical boundaries, uniting hearts and souls in a harmonious symphony.
