In this song, she presents an innovative approach that combines tradition and modernity, celebrating African culture through hip hop.

Xingombela: The Dance that Inspires the New Track

The song title, “HIP HOP XINGOMBELA”, refers to the traditional Mozambican dance. Xingombela, This dance, originating in the province of Gaza and extending to the province of Maputo, was traditionally performed on moonlit nights by young people of both sexes, to the sound of drums, whistles, and xipalapalas—instruments made from gazelle or antelope horns.
