Mozambican actress, filmmaker, and TV presenter Jujú Rombe is spearheading an important initiative to support women suffering from breast cancer, especially those who have lost their self-esteem and are facing emotional challenges. As part of Pink October, a global breast cancer awareness campaign, Jujú is leading a movement to provide support and assistance to these women and their families.
The event will run until October 26th at the Gilberto Mendes Cinema Theater, and, as Jujú herself announced on social media, attendance is free. "There's no charge," the actress stated, encouraging family members and anyone interested in learning more about the disease and supporting the cause to attend.
Jujú emphasizes that this is a welcoming space, both for people living with the disease and struggling with depression and loss of self-esteem, and for their families, who often also face emotional difficulties. The event is aimed not only at those directly affected by cancer, but also at anyone who wants to understand more about this condition and be part of this "pink world.".
“"Come give us a comforting hug," Jujú wrote in a loving message on social media, inviting everyone to embrace the movement and reinforcing the importance of mutual support during this journey.
