The Mozambican activist Josina Z. Machel participated this Thursday morning in the VI Congress of Psychoanalysis in Portuguese Language, carried out under the theme “How is war made? How is peace built?”. The meeting took place at Polytechnic University, in Maputo, and brought together a diverse group of participants, including psychoanalysts, psychologists, psychiatrists, health professionals, writers, artists and diplomats.
The congress aims to analyze, through the lens of psychoanalysis, the processes that contribute to the construction of war scenarios and the building of peace, with an emphasis on the role of the subject, their social insertion and cultural expression.
In images shared on social media, Josina Z. Machel appears next to the Professor Narciso Matos, a prominent figure in the Mozambican academic scene, and also with his sister Dora Chipande, known for her work as an activist and writer, especially in areas related to combating harassment and sexual violence against children and young people.
