João Chissano Suffers Defeat Against His Former Club Textáfrica: 2-1

João Chissano, the current coach of Ferroviário de Nampula, had no luck in his trip to Textáfrica's ground in Soalpo, where his team was defeated 2-1. The result has a bitter taste, as Chissano knows this ground well, having coached Textáfrica in the recent past. However, his return to Soalpo ended up being marked by defeat.

On the other hand, Textáfrica's new coach, Alex Cepede, who replaced Chissano, celebrated his first victory at the helm of the team. Cepede stressed that, with the Moçambola in its final rounds, each game will be treated like a final. The victory over Ferroviário de Nampula gives a crucial boost to the Chimoio team, which is desperately fighting to escape the relegation zone.

Despite the victory, Textáfrica remains at the bottom of the table with 14 points. However, they are now only one point ahead of the second-to-last team, Brera Tchumene, who have 15 points. The fight to stay in the Moçambola promises to be intense in the coming rounds, and Textáfrica, under Cepede's command, will seek more victories to try and avoid relegation.

With this defeat, João Chissano finds himself in a delicate situation, and the pressure is mounting for Ferroviário de Nampula to recover in the upcoming matches and finish the season with more positive results.
