Injustice and Freedom: The Saga of Professor Jorge in Prison

Dance teacher Jorge was recently released from prison after six months of detention, claiming he was unjustly imprisoned without trial. In a moving interview with Fred Jossoias, Jorge expressed his gratitude to those who supported the campaign for his freedom.

“I am shocked by what I experienced and saw in there,” said Jorge, describing his experience in prison. Surprisingly, he highlighted the positive role of the artistic community during his time in prison, mentioning the kindness of the guards and inmates.

Jorge's indignation is palpable as he recounts the loss of his dignity and the presence of people manipulating his case. He claims to have been detained without a warrant, even after tests came back negative. His bewilderment at the lack of explanation for his arrest reflects the injustice he claims to have faced.

“"I'm not resentful, I'm not angry, but I am annoyed," declared Jorge, who expressed concern about the alleged failure of the judicial system, especially in relation to the 12th left, where it all began.

Jorge highlighted his long career in the artistic world, with over 30 years of experience, and questioned why he, with his established trajectory, would face such serious accusations. He mentions contracts with more than five schools, all renewed, as evidence of his impeccable reputation in the field.

The lack of a trial and the absence of bail add an element of mystery to Jorge's story, increasing the perplexity surrounding his detention. He has expressed his determination to seek justice through lawyers, refusing to forgive those who unjustly imprisoned him.

Despite the trauma he experienced in prison, Jorge revealed that he is eager to resume his life and career. He has received job offers and expressed his desire to continue contributing to the artistic world.

Jorge's wife, who fought tirelessly for her husband's freedom, shared her joy at his release, but did not hide her sadness that Jorge had missed the birth of their son during his detention.

Jorge's final piece of advice, "Be careful of the people around you," resonates as a warning about the complexities that can arise in interpersonal relationships, especially during difficult times.

Amidst all the uncertainties, one thing is certain: Professor Jorge's story is a testament to resilience and the fight against injustice, leaving behind questions that demand answers and echoing the importance of the continuous pursuit of a fair and transparent judicial system.
