Iğdır de Guima is eliminated from the Turkish Cup

Iğdır FK was eliminated from the Turkish Cup after a 3-2 defeat to Muş 1984 Muşspor in the fourth round of the competition. The home team, which featured international Ricardo Guimarães, was unable to hold on to its early lead and was stunned by their opponent's comeback.

Iğdır started the match at a high pace, and K. Aleksić opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Their initial advantage was reinforced by O. Özleşen's second goal in the 27th minute. However, Muşspor refused to give up. C. Çelik scored in the 20th minute, and Y. Alkan equalized in the 34th minute, sending the teams level at halftime.

In the second half, despite Ricardo Guimarães's experience on the field, Iğdır FK failed to regain control. In the 58th minute, Y. Alkan scored again, sealing the victory for Muşspor and eliminating Iğdır from the competition.

Ricardo Guimarães, who recently joined Iğdır FK as an international signing, had a low-key performance in the match, failing to influence the outcome. The elimination leaves the team focused solely on the league, where they sit in 5th place with 22 points from 14 games.

Iğdır FK now turns its attention to recovering in the league, while Muşspor continues its progress in the Turkish Cup, with morale high after this victory.
