Mozambican footballer Francisco “Chico” Lopes Albino Muchanga celebrates another year of life today, November 5th, turning 32. Born in 1991 in the city of Beira, Muchanga is one of the most experienced defenders on the Mozambican national team and currently plays for the Mozambican club Costa do Sol.
Muchanga's career began in 2010, playing for Sporting Beira, before transferring to Ferroviário, where he played between 2011 and 2019, totaling 44 games and scoring 4 goals. In 2012, he had a brief loan spell at Liga Desportiva de Maputo, which gave him experience and visibility.
In December 2019, Muchanga made a significant move by signing a contract with TS Sporting in South Africa, where he remained until his return to Mozambique. Currently, he plays for Costa do Sol, where he continues to contribute his experience to Mozambican football.
Internationally, Muchanga is also an important player for the Mozambican national team. He made his debut for... Mambas On April 23, 2011, in a friendly match where the Mozambican team beat Tanzania 2-0. Since then, he has played 29 matches wearing the Mozambique jersey.
