The Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) announced a partnership with Mozambique Airlines (LAM) and the travel agency Cotur to organize a special tour to Guinea-Bissau. The initiative is aimed at fans wishing to support the national team, the Mambas, in the final round of qualifying for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CAN), which will be held in Morocco. The Mambas will face the Guinea-Bissau national team, Djurtos, in a decisive match scheduled for November 19th in the city of Bissau.
According to the FMF statement, the tour is scheduled for November 17th, departing at 10:45 p.m., and returning on the 19th, immediately after the match, leaving Bissau at 10:00 p.m. The goal is to ensure that the Mozambicans present can support the national team in a crucial match for both teams in Group I, increasing their chances of qualifying for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
Interested parties can purchase the travel package through Cotur, priced at 80,000 meticais per person, which includes a round-trip ticket, one night's hotel accommodation, transportation between the airport, hotel, and stadium, entry to the game, and an official National Team jersey. However, the FMF advises that seats are limited, encouraging fans to secure their reservations as soon as possible.
To participate in the trip, you must present a yellow fever vaccination card, a health requirement for entry into Guinea-Bissau. Additionally, a visa will be issued upon arrival in the country, upon payment of a USD 100 fee.
This FMF initiative aims to strengthen support for the Mambas at a crucial time, mobilizing the fans' passion and ensuring a vibrant environment for the team in Bissau. The tour is a unique opportunity for Mozambicans to be alongside the Mambas, bringing with them the warmth and energy of the Mozambican stands to support the team on its way to the 2025 FIFA World Cup.
