Today, November 23rd, the inauguration of the new Municipal Stadium on Ibo Island, in Cabo Delgado, is scheduled, in a ceremony that will be led by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi. The event will also be attended by the president of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF), Feizal Sidat, reaffirming the commitment to the development of sport in the country.
The construction of the field represents an important step towards strengthening football in Cabo Delgado, a region marked by challenges, but which maintains an unwavering passion for the sport. The new infrastructure promises to create suitable conditions for the training of young athletes and the holding of local competitions, encouraging the growth of the sport in the province.
