Mozambican figures pay tribute to the death of lawyer Elvino Dias.

The tragic death of Dr. Elvino Dias, a lawyer and respected figure in Mozambique, has caused profound mourning throughout the country. Since the announcement of his death, various Mozambican figures have used social media to express their grief and pay tribute to the lawyer, whose loss has been deeply felt in many circles.

Among the tributes, Cláudio Ismael, a well-known Mozambican artist, expressed his sadness with a heartfelt message: “My heart is broken, this is not the Mozambique I dream of for my family.” The statement reflects the pain and frustration with the violence that has impacted the country, leaving deep scars on many families and communities.

Marllen, popularly known as Preta Negra, also spoke out with an emotional tribute, mentioning the impact not only of Elvino's death, but also of another colleague, Paulo Guambe, with whom she shared moments in the theater and at the Higher Institute of Arts and Culture (ISarC). “Human justice is as blind as passion. But nothing will go unpunished by God's justice,” wrote Marllen, echoing the sense of injustice that many feel with the loss of such important figures.

Virtual counselor Mana Cecy, known for her work counseling in Mozambican homes, also shared a moving video, offering comfort to the grieving family and expressing her condolences during such a painful time.

The expressions of sadness and outrage did not stop there. Several public figures and ordinary citizens took to social media to share their grief over the loss of lawyer Elvino Dias, highlighting the profound impact of his death on Mozambican society.

This moment of national mourning reflects the void left by the passing of a prominent figure and the desire for justice and peace that continues to be expressed by many Mozambicans.
