Ferroviário de Maputo faces an important challenge in the 4th round of the second half of the Moçambola championship, traveling to Nampula to face the local Ferroviário team. Despite the trip, the fans of the "Locomotives of the Capital" remain optimistic about the possibility of achieving a good result away from home.
Ferroviário de Maputo started the second half of the championship promisingly, accumulating 7 points in three games, the same number of points they achieved throughout the 11 games of the first half. With two wins and a draw, the team led by coach Caló aims to maintain their unbeaten record in this phase of the championship.
However, Ferroviário de Nampula, this Sunday's opponent, showed in the last round that they are a difficult opponent to overcome. The Nampula team held the Moçambola leader, Black Bulls, to a 1-1 draw at home, demonstrating their strength as hosts.
The "Locomotives of the Capital" started the second half of the championship at the bottom of the table, but have climbed to 8th place, now with 14 points. Ferroviário de Nampula, in turn, is currently in 4th place with 19 points and will play at home, where they traditionally perform better.
The match between the two teams is scheduled for Sunday at 3 pm, and promises to be a hard-fought game, with both sides looking to consolidate their positions in the Moçambola standings.
