Mozambican writer, rapper, activist, and poet Énia Lipanga will be a featured speaker at the III Congress of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Roraima (MPC-RR) this Friday, November 22nd, with a lecture on women's freedom. The event, whose central theme is "Indigenous Peoples and Human Rights," will include the artist's participation to address issues related to women's rights and her experiences as an African woman.
During her presentation, Énia will share her personal and cultural experiences, shedding light on the reality of Mozambique and the impact of the struggle for human rights and women's empowerment. The artist aims to provoke reflection on the importance of gender equality and the strengthening of women's voices in challenging social and political contexts.
This is Énia Lipanga's second visit to Brazil, a country where she has been strengthening cultural ties through her art and activism. In addition to discussing women's freedom, she will bring to the debate a broad perspective on the similarities and differences between women's struggles in Mozambique and Brazil, highlighting the role of hope and solidarity in the pursuit of justice and equality.
