The Mozambican artist says that this is a positive regret and, to dispel any doubts, adds that nobody bought him. "You can't misunderstand me, you'll think I'm harsh, that I don't know how to apologize," Doppaz said during the live stream.
After being arrested and released on bail, Doppaz spoke this afternoon, addressing the matter that led to his arrest, which lasted four days and four nights. About two weeks later, through a live broadcast he himself made, Doppaz issued an apology to the Mozambican people and to the family of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi.
“I apologize to the Mozambican people, first and foremost to our head of state, who is our head of state, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, and his family. You don't mess with family,” stated Doppaz. He acknowledges that nobody is perfect and admits the mistakes he made, which affected both the President's family and his own. Doppaz uses these words to express his regret. See the video below.
