Clemente Carlos says goodbye to TV Sucesso with an enigmatic message and thanks to Chairman Gabriel Júnior

Mozambican journalist and social activist Clemente Carlos announced his departure from TV Sucesso through a social media post that generated multiple interpretations among internet users, including public figures. The message, laden with metaphors, emojis, and personal references, made it difficult to immediately understand its true content: a farewell.

In the post, Clemente Carlos offered emotional thanks to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TV Sucesso, Gabriel Júnior, whom he called "Uncle Gabito" and "Angel Gabriel." The journalist recalled difficult moments in his career, including periods away from the country for security reasons, and praised the support he received from the network's director even when he was unable to perform his duties.

“When they wanted me (…) with the owners of the country, I spoke to uncle Gabito, he asked how much I wanted, I said: I just ask for my salary, even without working […] and he (angel Gabriel) said: okay”, wrote Clemente in a relaxed tone, but with an evident symbolic charge.

In addition to praising Gabriel Júnior's generosity, Clemente shared the difficult circumstances he experienced, revealing threats to his family and periods of exile. Still, he praised TV Sucesso's warm welcome and willingness to provide him with support and continued employment.

The publication ends with thanks to the broadcaster and a classic reference to political struggle:

“Thank you very much, Father. Thank you, TV Sucesso Moz. Something is missing… THE FIGHT CONTINUES.”.

The message quickly resonated on social media, with followers divided between laughter at the relaxed style and the impact of the veiled departure announcement. Clemente Carlos thus leaves TV Sucesso, but reinforces his commitment to social causes and the fight for a more just Mozambique.
