Cartoonist Sérgio Zimba's home was robbed while he was with his family.

Mozambican cartoonist Sérgio Zimba reported on social media that he was the victim of a robbery at his home yesterday afternoon. The artist explained that while he was at his niece's house in the 700 neighborhood, criminals used a txova-xitaduma (a two-wheeled handcart) to transport the stolen goods.

According to Zimba, the thieves took three computers – two laptops and one desktop – a plasma television, and two gas cylinders. The cartoonist highlighted the significant loss of documents stored on one of the laptops, which left him in a state of shock.

The incident was reported to the police, but Zimba stated he did not know what the next steps in the investigation would be. The case generated commotion among his followers, who expressed solidarity and hope that the artist will recover his belongings.
