Bruno Langa celebrates his 27th birthday today.

Today, October 31st, the Mozambican left-back celebrates his 27th birthday. Born in 1997 in Mozambique, Langa has built a solid and increasingly successful career in international football. Currently, he plays for UD Almería, a club in the Spanish Second Division, and is a regular in the Mozambican national team.

Career Start: From Maxi-Pacific to International Football

Langa took his first steps in his professional career at the Maxaquene club in Mozambique. His talent caught the eye, and in July 2018, he was acquired by Black Bulls, although he was soon loaned to Amora in Portugal, where he played in the Campeonato de Portugal. His regular playing time led Amora to secure his permanent stay with a three-year contract in May 2019. However, a month later, he was loaned to Vitória de Setúbal, a club in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, where he joined the under-23 team.

After the loan ended, Langa returned to Amora in July 2020 and stood out to the point of being included in the Portuguese Championship Team of the Year for the 2020-21 season.

Ascension in Portuguese Football: Success with Chaves

In June 2021, Bruno Langa took a significant step in his career by signing with Chaves in Liga Portugal 2. His debut for the club came on July 24th in the League Cup against Farense. His consistent performance helped Chaves achieve promotion to the Primeira Liga. In his first game in the top tier of Portuguese football, on August 7th, 2022, he started against Vitória de Guimarães. The most memorable moment came on September 3rd, 2023, when Langa scored his first professional goal, a feat that demonstrated his growth and determination.

New Stage in Spain: Challenge in Almería

At the beginning of 2024, Bruno Langa was signed by Almería of La Liga, initially on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy. Despite the club's relegation to the Second Division, his quality earned him a permanent four-year contract, signed in July, where he continues to demonstrate his grit and dedication on the field.

Career in the Mozambican National Team

Bruno Langa is also an important player for the Mozambican national team. He represented the country for the first time in 2016, at the COSAFA U-20 Cup. In the same year, he made his debut for the senior national team during the COSAFA Cup, in a game against Namibia. Since then, he has been a constant presence, representing the pride of Mozambican football on the international stage.

Congratulations, Bruno!

Today, Bruno Langa celebrates his 27th birthday, and Mozambican football has reason to be proud of one of its most promising talents. May this new year be full of achievements, both on Spanish soil and in international competitions with the Mozambican national team.
