Following the thrilling draw against Al Masry, Black Bulls are already turning their attention to their next challenge in the CAF Cup. On Sunday the 15th, the Bulls will host Enyimba FC of Nigeria in a match valid for the third round of Group D.
The match promises to be decisive for both teams' ambitions in the competition, as both are seeking their first victory in the group stage. While Black Bulls earned their first point in a draw against Al Masry, Enyimba also drew in the second round, but against Zamalek of Egypt, in a game that ended 2-2. Both teams have only one point after the conclusion of the second round, while Zamalek and Al Masry share the lead with 4 points.
The Black Bulls coaching staff, led by Hélder Duarte, is already working to correct the defensive flaws shown in recent matches and strengthen their offensive power. The team will have the advantage of playing at home again, counting on the support of the fans to add three points and improve their position in the group.
Enyimba FC, the current Nigerian league champions and one of the most experienced teams in African football, arrive in Maputo motivated to try and break their streak of draws and stay in the race for qualification.
With the group results still balanced, Sunday's game is crucial for both teams. A victory could put Black Bulls in a competitive position and reinforce their dream of advancing to the CAF Cup quarter-finals.
