Black Bulls Begin Preparations to Face Zamalek in the CAF Cup

Following their recent Moçambola title win, Black Bulls return to training this morning in Tchumene to begin preparations for their debut in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup. On November 27th, the "bulls" will face Egyptian giants Zamalek at the Cairo International Stadium, an impressive venue with a capacity of around 80,000 spectators.

The match, scheduled for 10 pm local time (9 pm in Maputo), promises to be a major challenge for the newly crowned national champions. The game against the current CAF Cup holders marks Black Bulls' debut in this stage of the competition, and Hélder Duarte, the Mozambican team's coach, has already warned about the expected difficulties. However, he believes the pressure will be mainly on the Egyptians, given their status as defending champions.

Intense Preparation for the Challenge

The Black Bulls plan to hold at least five training sessions in Mozambique before traveling to Cairo this weekend. Once in Egypt, the team is expected to hold two more adaptation training sessions to fine-tune the final details before the match.

Duarte also confirmed that the team will travel at full strength, as all players are physically fit and motivated to represent the country on one of the biggest stages in African football.

A Challenging Group

Placed in Group D, Black Bulls will face not only Zamalek, but also Al Masry, another Egyptian club, and Enyimba, from Nigeria. According to Duarte, these teams will be the main rivals of the "bulls" in their quest for a place in the next phase.

On the same day, Al Masry will face Enyimba at 6 PM in Port Said, completing the first round of the group.

A Mission of Overcoming

The match against Zamalek will be a true test for Black Bulls, who are looking to write a new page in the history of Mozambican football. Even against a tough opponent, the team is confident in hard work and team unity to surprise and achieve a positive result in Cairo.

With high motivation and the support of their fans, the "bulls" are ready to face this challenge with determination, representing Mozambique with courage and ambition in the CAF Cup.
