A young man from the municipality of Matola, in the Nkobe neighborhood, Big Gordo, in an interview with Apathany, made it clear that the music market is very competitive, as most people are paying less and less attention to educational music and prefer more upbeat or groove-oriented music.
A response that reveals the outpouring of someone who truly feels this exclusion. Big Gordo entered the music scene in 2004, and 19 years have passed since then. The artist still struggles to achieve notable popularity locally.
He also reveals that his most challenging moment in this 19-year journey was the release of his first album, titled "Djecadores," which, generally speaking, refers to people who tend to be present at certain events uninvited. This album consists of 10 songs.
This week's artist also reveals the name of the Mozambican artist who inspires them, and internationally, you'll find out the names tomorrow at the same time. Watch this week's video below.
