In an act of solidarity and love for their country, Mozambican artists from different regions – North, Center and South – joined together to launch the song “We Want Peace”, an emotional and collective appeal for peace in Mozambique. This initiative, led by the production company Bawito Música with the special support of Pastor James MK, brings together leading names in Mozambican music in a message that transcends cultural and regional boundaries.
Among the participating artists are Mr. Bow, Júlia Duarte, Cleyton David, Tamyres Moiane, Melony, Classic Nova, Luckie, Liloca, Nelson Tivane, Bikhiza, Lázaro Sampaio, Anita Macuacua, and AZ Khinera, representing the country's artistic richness and diversity. The theme also features a special appearance by Pastor James MK, whose presence reinforces the spiritual and emotional dimension of the project.
“We Want Peace” is not just a song, but a movement that seeks to raise awareness in society about the importance of peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence. The song, with its moving melody and powerful lyrics, echoes the feelings of millions of Mozambicans who desire a future marked by stability and progress.
The initiative highlights the power of music as a tool for social transformation, connecting different generations and communities around a common goal: peace. Beyond its message, the project also symbolizes the ability of artists to use their voices as instruments of hope and change.
With the support of Bawito Música, “Queremos Paz” promises to be a landmark in Mozambican culture, showing that art can indeed be a vehicle for building a better future.
