International assistant referee Arsénio Maringule demonstrated his commitment to improving refereeing in Mozambican football by making a generous donation to the National Football Referees Commission (CNAF). Six communication kits were delivered, aiming to facilitate interaction between the referees in charge of officiating the prestigious "Moçambola" tournament.
Maringule emphasized the importance of these devices for referees, highlighting that they can significantly improve on-field performance. Through efficient communication between members of the refereeing team, it is expected that the quality of decisions made during matches will be elevated, thus contributing to the continued growth of football in the country.
In addition to the initial donation, Maringule announced his intention to continue supporting refereeing, suggesting the possibility of providing more communication equipment kits in the coming days. His initiative demonstrates not only generosity but also a lasting commitment to the development of sport in Mozambique.
Meanwhile, the CNAF has already taken the first steps towards the 2024 "Moçambola" season, selecting 50 referees to officiate the matches. The tournament is scheduled to start on Saturday, with games planned in the cities of Pemba and Matola. This careful selection of referees demonstrates a commitment to ensuring that the competitions are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
The combined efforts of referees and the generosity of figures like Arsénio Maringule are fundamental to strengthening Mozambican football. May these initiatives continue to inspire and empower those involved in the sport, raising the standard and credibility of the "Moçambola" and all future competitions.
