Amora demands five million euros from Sporting for Geny Catamo.

Negotiations between Sporting Clube de Portugal and Amora Futebol Clube for the transfer of Mozambican international Geny Catamo continue without significant progress. So far, Sporting has submitted an offer of €1.8 million for 75% of the player's rights, which belong to Amora. However, the club from the south bank of the Tagus River maintains its firm position, demanding €5 million for the player.

Sporting's approach, mainly conducted through intermediaries and agents, has been considered timid by Amora, who are unwilling to accept offers below the stipulated value. Amora's management believes that Geny Catamo, with enormous potential and international experience, is undervalued in Sporting's current offers.

This impasse could further inflate the player's market value as time passes and more clubs show interest. With Geny's growing prominence, Amora sees the possibility of increasing his transfer fee even further if Sporting doesn't reach an agreement soon.

Geny Catamo, who has shown quality and potential both at Sporting and with the Mozambique national team, is seen as a key player for the future of the Lisbon club. However, the protracted negotiations could complicate his stay at Alvalade, especially if other clubs enter the race for the player.

The situation leaves Sporting fans waiting for a resolution, while the club's management seeks a viable financial solution that satisfies both parties.
