Mozambicans Alcy and Criss were present this morning on the program “Welcome”, from RTP Africa, to share the behind-the-scenes and emotions behind the film's success “Caly”, winner of the Best Short Film category at FESTIN – Portuguese Language Itinerant Film Festival, 2025 edition.
During the talk show, the two artists shared their experiences with the project, which has gained international recognition. For Alcy, an actor and content creator, “Caly” represents a remarkable debut in the world of cinema, while for Criss, director of the short film, the award at FESTIN is the consecration of a work made with passion, creativity and Mozambican identity.
