The Mozambican singer Liloca announced the return of Pink Walk 2025, scheduled for the day October 18th, an annual event that aims to promote breast cancer awareness and the importance of prevention. The initiative, which has already become a tradition, promises to once again color the Maputo Waterfront with love, hope and purpose.

According to Liloca, the Pink Walk “is more than an event, it is a gesture of unity and courage,” highlighting that each step represents a story of strength and overcoming.
This year, the walk will be attended by two inspiring women who transformed pain into motivation:
✨ Edite Dimene, breast cancer winner
✨ Nercia Pestana, cervical cancer winner
Both will share their stories of overcoming, reinforcing the message that prevention saves lives and that taking care of yourself is also an act of love and empowerment.
The starting point will be the Costa do Sol Terminal, on Avenida da Marginal, at 6:00 AM. Participants are invited to wear the official walk t-shirt, a symbol of unity and support for the cause.
The Pink Walk 2025 promises to be a moment of reflection, solidarity and celebration of life, a true demonstration that together we are stronger.
